Interest rates continue to fall to an all time low for SSBs. With the interest rates so low, investors are all flocking into the stock market as There Is No Alternative (TINA). There is also an investment adage "Don't fight the Fed". This resulted in the strong rally specifically Nasdaq. Despite COVID-19 and protest in US, the market is ignoring the situation on the ground and prices keep going up. Many believed that a bubble is forming in the US markets and things might not end well.
With this kind of environment, FOMO is really tempting. I recently opened an account with Tiger Broker as it offers very attractive commission fees. It is a China brokerage so note that there are platform risks. I will just fund it with a small amount of money to go into the US market. Still have not decide on what I will be buying as the US market is overvalued now. I am just looking at fixed income ETF and not speculating on any stocks.
